View from the world’s tallest twin towers

The Petronas Twin Towers is a must-visit in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, standing at 88-storeys high. Make your way to the skybridge for magnificent views of the city before enjoying  classical music at the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. If you love marine life, the Aquaria KLCC is the place for you. It spans over 60,000 square feet with a 300 foot tunnel in the middle, creating a land to sea journey. Shop to your heart’s content at the nearby Pavilion and Starhill Gallery shopping malls Alternatively, hop onboard KL’s Hop-On-Hop-Off bus for a city tour covering more than 70 attractions including the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, Central Market, Istana Negara (National Palace) and more.

 

 

Climb Batu Caves

​Marvel at the impressive golden structure of Lord Murugan at the entrance of a 272-step climb into Batu Caves, a limestone outcrop that houses a Hindu shrine. Make a trip during the Hindu festival of Thaipusam to witness colourful processions where devotees carry giant kavadis (metal constructions of offerings) to the top of the caves.

 

 

Visit the pewter factory

Take a free tour of the Royal Selangor pewter factory to get acquainted with events that explain colonial Malaya, which includes the founding of the world’s finest pewter in 1885.
